A ministry of surrender, stewardship, and service

THE WAY

Plant seeds. Grow food. Share the harvest.

The Way brings people together to transform suitable underused green space into community gardens and edible landscapes—rooted in the recorded words of Jesus and lived through responsible service.

LOVE • GROW • PLAY

Surrender to Yahweh. Follow Jesus. Serve one another.

Ministry Phase 1In formation

Grow • Community gardens and edible landscapes

Use the green space already among us to grow food and community.

The first practical expression of The Way is to convene land stewards and neighbors around suitable underused space at churches, schools, recreational facilities, sports complexes, and golf courses.

  1. 01

    Identify suitable land

Begin only with permission, site assessment, water access, soil safety, and a responsible operating plan.

  2. 02

    Grow together

Connect facility professionals, experienced growers, educators, families, coaches, students, and volunteers.

  3. 03

    Share through accountable partners

Establish who tends the garden, who receives the harvest, and how food is shared before planting begins.

Our name points beyond us

We follow Jesus as The Way.

The organization is not claiming to be Jesus or to control access to Him. The name directs attention away from institutional importance and toward the One whose words govern this ministry.

A ministry-authored framework

Love • Grow • Play

Love builds trust. Growth becomes possible. Joy becomes lived.

01

Love comes first.

People are treated with dignity. Trust and permission come before plans for land or people.

02

Grow comes second.

Land grows food while people grow knowledge, patience, responsibility, and relationship.

03

Play is the fruit.

Sports, recreation, creativity, shared work, and celebration make room for joy.

Seek first to understand

Listening before answers. A person before a problem.

This is an operational listening pathway—not a substitute for emergency, professional, or pastoral care.

  1. 01

    Discover

Tell your story in your own words.

  2. 02

    Understand

A human servant listens and lets you correct the summary.

  3. 03

    Respond

Choose one honest next step, resource, conversation, or referral.

A public promise

Surrender never means remaining in danger.

Faith participation is voluntary. Practical care is never conditioned on agreement, donation, or public testimony. We do not use forgiveness, submission, unity, or reconciliation to pressure anyone back into harm.

Safety, privacy, and accountability

Ministry Phase 1 • Grow

Prepare the ground before asking the ground to produce.

Responsible community gardens begin with permission, listening, soil and water assessment, qualified guidance, safety, and a written plan.
